The top-ranked T20I batter in the world, Suryakumar, posted a photo of Netravalkar and fellow countryman Harmeet Singh celebrating a wicket fall during the T20 World Cup match between America and Pakistan on Instagram Stories.

Speaking of the match, Pakistan was humiliated as the newcomers, the United States of America, pulled off one of the most significant upsets to date. The USA put on several outstanding performances, but Netravalkar stood out. With two overs remaining and two wickets claimed, Saurabh restricted Pakistan to 159 runs. He then put his incredible skills to use in the super over, as he didn't allow the PA batters to reach the target.

Following a tie, the co-hosts overcame the Men in Green in the Super Over. Pakistan scored 159/7, while the USA scored the same amount, sending the match to a super over. PAK conceded far too many runs as a result of Mohammed Amir's poor bowling, which yielded 18 runs. PAK scored only 13, and as a result, the United States topped Group A with two consecutive wins before meeting India. In their opening match, the United States defeated Canada by seven wickets.
