Kohli, who was celebrating his 35th birthday, smashed a brilliant century, his 49th in ODI cricket. With this, he equalled Sachin Tendulkar's record for most tons in One-Day Internationals. Kohli was named the player of the match for his magnificent century in the game.

After achieving a remarkable milestone by equalling Sachin Tendulkar's world record for the most ODI centuries, Kohli was seen dancing to a song from Anushka Sharma's movie 'Band Baaja Baraat' while actively fielding. The incident took place in the second innings of the match. A video of Kohli's entertaining dance is now going viral on social media. 

Throughout the ODI World Cup 2023, the Delhi-born batting maestro has been known to showcase his dance moves on the field, and he notably grooved to the beat of 'My Name is Lakhan' at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai as well. With South Africa struggling against India's relentless bowling unit, Kohli was in high spirits, fully immersed in the enjoyment of the game.

Virat Kohli is currently the second-highest run-scorer in the ongoing ODI World Cup with 543 runs in eight innings, which he scored at a staggering average of 108.60.
