'You can't blame somebody': Rahul Dravid weighs in on spirit of cricket after Mathews' timed-out row

Rahul Dravid offers take on the controversial ‘timed out’ dismissal
While speaking in the press conference ahead of the IND vs NED CWC 2023 match, Team India head coach Rahul Dravid gave his opinion on the controversial ‘timed out’ dismissal during the BAN vs SL clash. Dravid believes that the Indian team would have never done it but no one can also be blamed for that dismissal. Rahul Dravid said:

As you said, different people react differently. We have our own minds, have our own thoughts. Each one of us will think differently about a particular situation. And there is no real right and wrong. You can debate both the situations. You can debate whether we have to stick to the rules as they are or sometimes give a little leeway for a little bit of Spirit of Cricket. And there will be people of both sides of the camp.

Team India aims to finish unbeaten ahead of the CWC 2023 semis
The Indian cricket team is expected to face New Zealand when they play the first semi-final match of the tournament at the Wankhede Stadium on November 15. However, ahead of the semis, the Indian team will be playing against the Netherlands in its final round-robin match and will like to enter the knockouts unbeaten. The ‘Men in Blue’ are currently unbeaten in the tournament so far and have won eight matches out of eight. The match will be played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on November 12.
