WWE Smackdown Results: Solo Sikoa & the Bloodline Utterly Brutalize Champion Cody Rhodes Yet Again

Friday Night SmackDown aired live from the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska. The latest episode of the Blue Brand featured all of the builds as the roads lead to SummerSlam in Cleveland, Ohio. The brand's top superstars like Cody Rhodes, Bayley, The Bloodline 2.0, Tiffany Stratton, Kevin Owens and more were featured on the show. With the MITB in the rear-view mirror, all the attention will now turn towards the upcoming PLE, the biggest party of the summer. • Andrade el Idolo vs. Carmelo Hayes: Andrade el Idolo wins by pinfall with The Message.
• Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green: Bianca Belair wins by pinfall with an O’Connor roll.
• “Michin” Mia Yim vs. Tiffany Stratton: Mia Yim wins by pinfall with a schoolboy pin.
• A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory & Grayson Waller) vs. “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens: Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens win via pinfall.

WWE SmackDown: Highlights of the Night

• After he made the Universal Championship match official, Cody Rhodes returns to SmackDown as he opens the show to talk about Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline. But A-Town Down Under interrupted him and it made the Champ irate. Rhodes started swinging hands and left him out of the ring.
• But Terrence Crawford gave him an equalizer, and he sent the duo packing. He then finds GM Nick Aldis backstage and demands a match, but the GM asks him to find a tag-team partner.
• Bayley and Nia Jax sit down for a satellite interview with Corey Graves. She did not allow Graves to respond and instead continued her verbal attacks on Bayley. The champion also responded with angry comments, prompting the Queen to storm out of the interview.
• The United States Championship title match was made official after Champion Logan Paul put ink to paper. He even tried to put his hands on LA Knight, but he sent him out.
• Solo Sikoa and the Bloodline appeared in a package and he threatened the man partnering with Cody Rhodes that consequences would come to that person.
• Kevin Owens was revealed as the mystery tag team partner as he made his way out to the ring and joined the Champion.
• The Bloodline brutally attacked Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes and put the Undisputed Universal Champion through the table. They also brutalized KO with a chair and caused wreckage all over as the show ended.
