The Portuguese superstar has been the difference maker for several clubs across Europe. The five time Ballon D'Or winner has been the best player at Al Hilal even at the twilight stages of his career. Cristiano Ronaldo in Al-Nassr's match against Esteghlal FC added goal to his tally as he races towards 1000 career goals. His goal helped Al-Nassr move to the quarterfinals stages of the AFC Champions League Elite.
Ronaldo Scores Penalty As Al-Nassr Win 3-0 In AFC Champions League Elite
Al-Nassr faced off against Esteghlal FC in the second leg of their round of 16 match on 10th March 2025. The first leg between the two teams had ended in a 0-0 draw. As the two teams met at the Al-Awwal Park in Saudi Arabia, it was the home team that came out on top.
Al-Nassr defeated Esteghlal 3-0 to qualify for the quarterfinals of the tournament. The scoring for Al-Nassr was opened by Jhon Duran who gave his team an early lead in the ninth minute of the match. It was in the 27th minute that Cristiano Ronaldo got his name on the scoresheet as Al-Nassr were handed a penalty and Ronaldo like several times before successfully converted it. It was in the 84th minute that Jhon Duran got his second goal which was the final nail in the coffin as Al-Nassr proceeded to the quarterfinals.

Al-Nassr And Cristiano Ronaldo In Hunt For Silverware
Al-Nassr are currently in the hunt for their first Asia championship as they proceeded to the quarterfinals of the AFC Champions League Elite. As for the Saudi Pro League, there is work that needs to be done as they are currently in fourth behind rivals Al Hilal and Al Ittihad.

Al-Nassr will be in action again on 15th March when they take on Al Kholood.
