Luis Enrique's Daughter Xana Who Passed Away From Cancer Gets Heartwarming Tribute From PSG Fans During UCL Final 2025

Paris Saint Germain defeated Inter Milan by a score of 5-0 to secure their first ever UEFA Champions League title.

Paris Saint Germain created history as they won their first ever UEFA Champions League title. The Parisian club had been hunting for a UEFA Champions League since for decades now as the club finally got the ‘Big Eared’ trophy after a thumping victory over Inter Milan. PSG defeated Inter Milan by 5-0 which is also the biggest defeat for a club in the finals of the Champions League. PSG have been looking like a team reborn under Luis Enrique, as the former Barcelona manager has made PSG a dominant team across Europe. 

PSG Fans Give Emotional Tribute To Xana And Luis Enrique 

During the match between Paris Saint Germain and Inter Milan, the PSG fans gave an extremely heartwarming tribute to their coach Luis Enrique. The PSG fans unfurled a massive tifo which showed Luis Enrique and his daughter planting a flag, a tribute to the viral moment between the two after Barcelona's 2015 Champions League win. 

Luis Enrqiue's daughter Xana had passed away in 2019. She had been diagnosed with bone cancer and after a five month long battle with the disease breathed her last. During the match even Luis Enrique could be seen wearing a tshirt which depicted him and his daughter planting the PSG flag.

Luis Enrique Delivers On UCL Promise 

Spanish coach Luis Enrique has taken over Paris Saint Germain in 2023 and had since then set his sights on getting Paris Saint Germain their first ever UEFA Champions League title. The Spanish coach delivered on the promise as PSG thrashed Inter Milan 5-0 to get their first UCL title. 

“The only trophy missing was Champions League. And we've ticked that box. We were ambitious, and we did it,” said Luis Enrique after the win against Inter Milan.

With PSG winning the Champions League, they also completed their treble as they also won the Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.
