Bruno Fernandes has been Manchester United's chief orchestrator for the last couple of seasons. The Portuguese midfielder will once again be in the thick of action when United take on Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.

Bruno Amorim Opens Up On Pressure And Criticism

United made a positive start to the season, having won one, drawn one and lost one. They are currently 9th in the EPL table, and a win in the Manchester derby will help them move into the upper half of the Premier League. United have shown encouraging signs in Ruben Amorim's first full-fledged season.

Bruno has been United's best player since his arrival at Old Trafford and was involved in 38 goals last season. But despite his stupendous form, the Manchester United captain has often faced criticism, and he has finally opened up on that aspect. In an interview with BBC Sport, he said, Nothing. People have an opinion about me and I can't change that. That's the way people want to judge you about what they see on the pitch or the television or interviews.

“I can't change that. They have the freedom to think the way they want about me as I have the freedom to think about them. I don't judge people until I know them. They can have an opinion about me, that's fine - we all have an opinion and that's why life is so good and so different. If we all think the same way it would be so boring.”
