Portugal Thrash Denmark 5-2 In UEFA Nations League Quarterfinal Despite Cristiano Ronaldo Missing Penalty
Portugal defeated Denmark in their UEFA Nations League quarterfinals to set up a semi-final against Germany.

As the second leg between Portugal and Denmark kicked off, Portugal were able to turn things around in a massive way as Portugal were able to put five goals past Denmark to win the second leg of the quarterfinal by a score of 5-2 and the whole thing by an aggregate score of 5-3. Denmark had defeated Portugal in the first leg by a score of 1-0 thanks to a late goal by Rasmus Hojlund. In the second leg, Portugal were able to turn things around as they now have a place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League.
Portugal Defeat Denmark To Win Nations League Quarterfinals
Portugal thrashed Denmark in the second leg of their UEFA Nations League clash despite Cristiano Ronaldo missing a penalty for his nation. Portugal got a penalty opportunity early on in the match, but Kasper Schmeichel was up to the task as he saved Cristiano Ronaldo's spot kick opportunity.
Portugal got their first goal thanks to an own goal by Joachim Andersen. Following that Rasmus Kristensen scored in the 56th minute for Denmark to get his team the lead. In the 72nd minute Cristiano Ronaldo got his name on the scoresheet as Portugal looked to be getting back in the game.

However Christian Eriksen scored once again for Denmark just four minutes later.
Flurry Of Goals In The Dying Minutes From Portugal
Following Christian Eriksen's goal for Denmark, Portugal sent a flurry of goals Denmark's way to finalize the win and proceed to the semi-finals. Francisco Trincao got a quick late brace for Portugal as he scored in the 86th and 91st minute to get Portugal in a comfortable lead.

The final nail in the coffin was the goal from Goncalo Ramos in the 115th minute setting up a semi-final between Germany and Portugal.
