Real Madrid have enjoyed an excellent week as they won their 15th Champions League title in Wembley, London after beating Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the finals. In less than 48 hours, Los Blancos announced the signing of their newest Galactico in Kylian Mbappe to put an end to one of the longest transfer sagas in history. 

With the signing of Kylian Mbappe now done and dusted, the Real Madrid hierarchy have their hearts set on their next statement signing as they working to strike a deal to sign this Bayern Munich star in the summer. \

Real Madrid working to sign Bayern Munich Star in the summer 

The Real Madrid bosses and coach Carlo Ancelotti seem to have been mightily impressed by the profile of Bayern Munch left back and speedster Alphonso Davies and are working towards his signing.

Real Madrid had long been linked with the signing of Alphonso Davies as his contract with the Bavarian club was set to expire in 2025. However, the links had cooled off in the past week and it was reported that Davies might end up renewing with Bayern given their new salary proposal. 

However, accroding to Fabrizio Romano and Mario Cortegana of the Athletic, Real Madrid have restarted their contacts with Davies' camp after the Champions League final and working to sign him.  

Bayern Munich have made their revived salary proposal to the Canadian and now it is up to him whether to renew or leave. 

Davies further stole the eyeballs when he scored a spectacular solo goal with his right foot against Real Madrid in the Champions League Semi Final this season.

Bayern Munich's asking price to sell Alphonso Davies in the summer is close to 50 Million Euros and Real Madrid are unwilling to pay this transfer fees. 

Their idea is either they sign Davies for a figure close to 30 Million Euros or they wait for his contract to expire and sign him for free in 2025. 

It has further been reported by Mario Cortegana that the speedster is slightly leaning towards renewing his contract at this stage but the La Liga Champions and 15-time CL winners are firmly in the race.
