Real Madrid Injury CRISIS: Los Blancos Plan DOUBLE HEIST To Cope With Dani Carvajal ACL Injury
Real Madrid have been left stunned with the ACL injury to veteran defender Dani Carvajal and have planned a double heist to cope with the absence.
Real Madrid find themselves in an injury crisis after their second captain and veteran right back Dani Carvajal picked up a horror injury in their 2-0 victory over Villareal. Dani Carvajal has triple rupture in his knee and is expected to be out for a full year.
Carvajal's injury has put Real Madrid in a spot of bother as they don't have an out and out replacement for him in the squad. Lucas Vasquez is the backup right back and the club is showing full faith in him but Real Madrid is also planning a Double Heist for two of Europe's most sought after fullbacks.
Real Madrid's double heist to replace Carvajal
While, Lucas Vasquez will fill in for Dani Carvajal in the right back role this season, Real Madrid has a plan to rope in two European football heavyweights in Trent Alexander Arnold from Liverpool and Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich.
According to a recent report by Spanish news outlet Marca, Real Madrid want to sign both Alphonso Davies and Trent Alexander-Arnold and are looking to offer them both pre-contracts in January.
Both Alphonso Davies and Trent Alexander-Arnold will be out of contract in June 2025, Real Madrid want to snap up both the superstars for free in the summer hence they want to seal the deals with the pre contract.
However, given Real Madrid are short on defensive options given the injury to David Alaba and recurring injury issues to Eder Militao, the report states that they could accelerate a move for Arnold in January itself.
Real Madrid certainly need new signings in the defence and will be eager to get both deals done to cope with Dani Carvajal's injury.
