Real Madrid, Valencia, Atletico Madrid, and FC Barcelona will all be involved in this season's Spanish Super Cup competition. As opposed to the normal routine, the 2019-20 edition of the Spanish domestic competition will be played in Saudi Arabia and not in Spain. This comes after the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) agreed on a three-year deal with Saudi officials to host the next three editions of the competition on foreign soil.

There are a lot of controversies surrounding the change of venue from Spain to Saudi Arabia. However, the Spanish Federation has claimed that all the money that will come in from this deal with Saudi Arabia will be reinvested back in amateur teams and women's football in Spain.
The federation declined to say how much the deal involving Spanish Super Cup was worth but indicated that all income earned would be reinvested in amateur football and women's football, aside from money granted to the four competing clubs.https://t.co/V73y9cfaW1
