Red Bull Interested In Offering New Role To Daniel Ricciardo Following Firing From RB

Daniel Ricciardo is one of the most well-known names around the Formula One circle. He goes by several nicknames too such as Honey Badger. Daniel Ricciardo gained fame back when he was in Red Bull as a ruthless and excellent driver who would use his trademark late-breaking to get ahead of the other drivers. Daniel Ricciardo also got famous due to him being the comedian in F1. Ever since Daniel Ricciardo left Red Bull, he has struggled throughout his career in trying to get back the magic he had back in his Red Bull days. 

After the Singapore Grand Prix, Daniel Ricciardo was fired from his seat at VCARB and replaced with Liam Lawson who will be taking his place for the remaining races. It is now all but confirmed that Daniel Ricciardo will not be in a Formula One car seat anymore. 

Red Bull Interested In Offering New Role 

Red Bull Racing, the team Ricciardo left a few seasons ago is interested in offering a new role to Daniel Ricciardo. According to advisor Helmut Marko, Red Bull is interested in offering Ricciardo a PR role and having him as a possible ambassador for the team. 

"We are interested. Daniel is one of the most popular Formula One drivers, especially in the United States.

"I find it hard to imagine him moving into another racing category, I don't believe that.

"On the other hand, the question is whether he will see the PR activities if he is no longer actively racing himself. 

"Ricciardo has a lot of money in his bank account. This is an important decision about his life, how he wants to arrange his future life," said Helmut Marko.

Currently, there is a lot of speculation regarding Daniel Ricciardo's future and whether he will move to a different area of motorsport or decide to retire.
