Sheetal Devi Takes Paralympics By Storm, Crowd Erupts As India's Youngest Para Archer Hits Bulls Eye

The Indian contingent is in action at the Paris Paralympics games. India has sent it's largest contingent ever to the Paris Paralympics as 84 Indian athletes have flown to Paris. In the field of archery, one of India's youngest para-archers, Sheetal Devi has amazed crowds with her archery skills as the young archer hit a bullseye at the Archery event at the Paris Paralympics. The crowd roared with applause upon seeing Devi's bullseye.

Sheetal Devi's Paralympics journey ended in heartbreak as she was eliminated after losing in the last 16 stage by a single point. 

The Crowd Erupts With Applause 

During the women's open category archery event, Sheetal Devi amazed fans and spectators around the world as India's armless wonder hit a bullseye. 

Devi is known for shooting with her legs due to her being born without arms. In her round of 16 match against Maria Zuninga, Sheetal won the first set 29-28. In the second round, Zuninga equaled her score and won the second set 27-26.

In the final round the two archers got locked in a heated battle as in the end Sheetal lost by a single point as the match ended with a score of 137-138. Sheetal is a two time gold medal winner for India at the Asian Para Games.
