Professional Wrestling legend and two-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away at age 71 after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Professional wrestling legend and two-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71. The former wrestler has reportedly suffered a heart attack, which led to his passing. Hogan was one of the biggest figures in the 80s era and has been a key figure in pro wrestling. His pro-American gimmick and energetic style attracted the masses, becoming a fan favourite among the kids who watched wrestling at that time.   

Hulk Hogan Passes Away At 71

Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bolea, has been a key figure in the realm of professional wrestling. He played a key role in developing Pro wrestling as sports entertainment under Vince McMahon's vision.

His energetic and pro-American persona was loved by the wrestling fans, making him a global sensation. The Real American theme music became synonymous with the wrestler as he came out with the American flag, with the fans having a raucous reaction to his entrance.

Apart from the WWE, Hulk Hogan had a significant run in WCW, where he devised a villain arc and turned heel to form the iconic nWo stable alongside Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. 'Hollywood' Hogan became immensely popular among the wrestling fans.

TMZ Sports has reported that medics were sent to Hulk Hogan's residence in Clearwater, Florida. Multiple police cars and emergency medical technicians were also seen outside his house, with the wrestler being stretchered out and put inside an ambulance. The operators on site stated that it was due to a 'cardiac arrest'.

Notably, Hogan had undergone a neck procedure in May, and multiple reports had surfaced that the former professional wrestler was on his 'deathbed.' However, those speculations were quickly scrapped by his wife, Sky Daily.

Hulk Hogan Is A Two-Time WWE Hall of Famer

The WWE has also confirmed the passing of Hulk Hogan, a stalwart in professional wrestling and a key figure in the company as well. The last time he appeared on WWE TV was at Monday Night RAW's debut on Netflix.

The WWE immortalised Hulk Hogan's Legacy by enshrining him in the Hall of Fame in 2005. He was once again inducted into the WWE HOF in 2020 as a member of the New World Order. Notably, his initial HOF induction was removed in 2015 after being involved in a scandal over racist comments.

As controversial as Terry Bolea has been over the years, he has kept the fire alive in professional wrestling. Professional wrestling has lost one of its biggest stars, who has helped revolutionise the realm.
