WWE News: Is Paige planning a WWE return in the near future?

Former WWE Divas Champion Paige has planned her WWE comeback. The superstar recently interacted with WWE CEO Vince McMahon. Know more about it and her role.

Former Diva's Champion Paige has been out of WWE for over a year after facing a severe neck injury. Paige was one of the leading women wrestlers in the roster with great charisma and wrestling skills. WWE fans have often spoken about her absence. However, it seems that there is good news for Paige fans since the Diva is planning to make her return. As per reports, Paige recently had an interaction with WWE CEO Vince McMahon and she is planning to make her return in a different role.

WWE: Is Paige really coming back?

After a successful hernia surgery, Paige is highly interested in her WWE return. However, she has decided to come back as manager for The Kabuki Warriors. Kabuki Warriors are currently the Women’s Tag-team Champions and the former WWE Divas Champion feels that the Kabuki ladies surely need a manager. In a recent podcast with Renee Young, Booker T and Christian, Paige disclosed her future plans for WWE and asked Vince McMahon to take her back in WWE.

A few months ago, in an interview with American media, Paige mentioned about her interactions with Vince McMahon. Paige feels that an appraisal from the CEO of WWE is a big thing and it made her feel good about her decision of coming back.

Paige returned to WWE in 2017 and brought Mandy Rose ‘The Golden Goddess’ and Sonya Deville along with her. The trio fought together in a six-woman match and Paige received a career-ending kick from Sasha Banks ‘The Boss’. Paige continued to be a part of WWE whether she was entering the ring or not. She was a guest commentator for the first-ever WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal and announced her retirement later that night. However, she kept on appearing in WWE as the General Manager of SmackDown for certain time and as the manager of Asuka and Kairi Sane. It seems that she will again choose the role of a manager for a WWE return.
