iPhone 16 selling at up to Rs 13,000 off but conditions apply
A deal claiming an effective price of Rs 36,900 for the iPhone 16 is also there but it does not specify how that calculation works.
iPhone 16 went on sale last month in India for a starting price of Rs 79,900. While it is slightly unexpected to get discounts on the new iPhone right from its first sale, Apple partnered with multiple banks to allow customers to shave off some rupees, irrespective of where they go for shopping. However, a new deal on the iPhone 16 reduces the price by up to 13,000.
Futureworld, one of Apple ’s Premium Reseller platforms, has announced the Navaratri offer where it is giving iPhone 16 customers at least two ways to save up to Rs 13,000. While the iPhone 16 is listed at its original price on the platform’s website, customers can bring down the cost by Rs 5,000 by using a credit card from ICICI Bank , Kotak Mahindra Bank, or State Bank of India. However, this is a cashback offer, so instead of getting the price reduced upfront, the bank will credit Rs 5,000 at the end of billing cycle. The effective price, thus, becomes Rs 74,900.
Over and above this offer, customers can get Rs 8,000 as a bonus when they trade in their old, used phone. That means they get Rs 8,000 on top of the value decided by the platform after a thorough evaluation. While the total price buyers can reduce is Rs 13,000 (Rs 5000 cashback + Rs 8,000 bonus), the effective price will be much lower based on the value of the traded-in smartphone.
Futureworld is also claiming to offer a 24K gold coin to iPhone 16 buyers, and in case they are not eligible, the platform offers a guaranteed gift, the details of which are unclear. The platform also claims an effective price of Rs 36,900 for the iPhone 16 but does not specify how that calculation works.
