As per the data, Tinder was the most downloaded dating app worldwide in September. While Facebook's dating app seems to have already fallen flat within a month of its launch, Tinder continues to remain the first choice among users when it comes to choosing a dating app.
Tinder was the most downloaded dating app worldwide for September 2019. Sensor Tower data shows Tinder had close to 5.5 million installs in September, resulting in a total of 4 per cent increase from the same period last year. In September, the most number of downloads for Tinder were from the U.S at 19 per cent, followed by Brazil at 12 per cent.
Badoo was the second most installed dating app worldwide in September. Badoo achieved a total of 3.8 million installs. The countries with the most significant number of Badoo installs were Brazil at 17 per cent, followed by Russia at 11 per cent. Tantan, MeetMe, and Happn rounded out the top five most installed dating apps worldwide for the month, reveals Sensor Tower data.

Looking at these rankings, you can see Tinder was the most downloaded app worldwide across both Play Store and App Store.
Meanwhile, Tantan came in at second position on App Store but third on Play Store, further impacting its overall global ranking. Badoo came in at number two for total downloads across Play Store and App Store. While Badoo came in at number second on Play Store, it came in at number fourth on the App Store. The list of top five apps for Google Play and overall downloads remains pretty much the same.
