Apple today announced Apple TV+ video subscription service at the company's annual hardware event. The service will launch on November 1st in more than 100 countries. Apple TV+ will offer a lineup of original shows, movies and documentaries. Apple's content library will include “The Morning Show,” “Dickinson,” “See,” “For All Mankind” and “The Elephant Queen.” Apple TV+ service will be available through the Apple TV app.

Apple TV+ subscribers can access original shows on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod Touch, Mac, among other platforms. You can also access Apple TV+ service online at tv.apple.com. Apple TV+ will also be available on the Apple TV app on select 2018, 2019 and newer Samsung smart TVs in the future. Apple said the service would also be available Amazon Fire TV, LG, Roku, Sony and VIZIO platforms in the future.

“With Apple TV+, we are presenting all-original stories from the best, brightest and most creative minds, and we know viewers will find their new favourite show or movie on our service,” said Zack Van Amburg, Apple’s head of Worldwide Video. “Each Apple TV+ original offers its own unique story, fresh perspective and powerful message — all meant to entertain, connect and inspire cultural conversations.”

Apple TV+ price in India

Apple TV+ video subscription service will be available in India at Rs 99 per month with a seven-day free trial. In what could a significant setback for Netflix and Disney, Apple is also offering one-year free Apple TV+ subscription to those purchasing any Apple device including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch or Mac starting today. Apple TV+ subscription supports Family Sharing, allowing up to six family members to use one subscription. Apple TV+ service was initially announced in March. During the event, Apple showed a trailer for Apple original “See,” a show starring Jason Momoa.
