CES 2019: LG To Showcase 88-inch Monitor With 8K Resolution Suppor

The CES 2019 is set to witness showcasing of an 88-inch OLED monitor from LG whose USP apart from its size is the fact that the display supports 8K resolution; which is seemingly a diversion from the current 4K resolution monitors that are in wide usage at this juncture. With this, the event itself is potentially setting huge expectations of some of the next-gen consumer technology products showcased actually getting a real-world launch.

As far as the LG 88-inch 8K display is concerned, it is also said to be capable of supporting 3.2.2-channel Dolby Atmo standards according to an Engadget report. This means that the 88-inch OLED monitor once officially launched could offer user communities viz content creators and professional game testers lots to cheer about.

For technical specifications of the LG 88-inch display, it should do no harm to check out the product in actuality at the CES event where LG has a presence and the company is also set to deliver keynote detailing real-world applications of AI.

Apart from this, there is also reportedly a 65-inch 8K OLED monitor. Hence, the CES 2019 on paper at least looks at offering LG loyalists lots to aspire.
