Motorola One Macro with macro lens coming soon to India 

Days after launching the Moto One Action, Motorola Mobility is gearing to launch another camera-focused smartphone, likely the Moto One Macro in India soon. The focus this time round will be on shooting macros or close-up shots. Motorola has started teasing the launch on social media and while the company doesn’t explicitly name the product the accompanying teaser highlights the phone’s macro capabilities. Further details are awaited. 

Rumoured specs of the Motorola One Macro include a 6.2-inch display (possibly with a dewdrop-style notch), an octa-core processor, and a 4,000mAh battery. In terms of cameras, the Motorola One Macro will reportedly come with a 13MP main camera and two 2MP cameras, one of which would seemingly use a macro lens. On the front, the Motorola One Macro is said to come with an 8MP camera. 

Although an exact date of launch hasn’t been quoted, now that Motorola has started teasing the phone, the launch should be soon enough. 

Motorola Mobility recently launched the Motorola One Action phone in India at a price of Rs 13,999. The main USP of the Motorola One Action is its dedicated 16MP ultra-wide action video camera with a 117-degree field-of-view. The Motorola One Action brings GoPro-like video recording smarts to the masses. 

Not only does the phone use 4-in-1-pixel binning for enhanced light sensitivity, Motorola is also using software to reduce shakiness while you’re shooting - Motorola calls it Enhanced Video Stabilization. There’s also a clever workaround that allows the Motorola One Action to record in landscape when the phone is held vertically and vice versa. Motorola engineers have physically rotated the camera sensor to be able to do this.  

Elsewhere, the Motorola One Action comes with a 6.3-inch 1080p+ display with a punch-hole cut-out. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9609 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage which is also expandable. There’s also a main 12MP camera and a 5MP depth camera, in addition to that action camera. On the front, it has a 12MP camera. The Motorola One Action further packs a 3,500mAh battery with USB Type-C charging.
