Samsung Galaxy A20 launched at Rs 12,490, comes with Infinity-V display, dual rear cameras and 4,000mAh battery

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A20 in India - its new Galaxy A-series phone that will join the existing Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 phones. Samsung has launched the Galaxy A20 in India at a price of Rs 12,490 and it will be available for buying from April 8 from both online and offline sales channels. 

The Galaxy A20 shares the same design as the Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 – which means that the Galaxy A20 also gets a 3D ‘glasstic’ design which boasts of plastic with glossy finish in layman terms. 

The Galaxy A20 comes with a 6.4-inch 720p+ (HD+) Super AMOLED display with Infinity-V teardrop notch and an octa-core Exynos 7884 processor (same as the Galaxy A30) with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which is expandable. There’s a 4,000mAh battery powering the whole thing and there’s also 15W fast charging through USB Type-C. It comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication. 

The Galaxy A20 comes with dual rear cameras consisting of one 13MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a secondary 5MP ultra wide-angle sensor. On the front, the Galaxy A20 comes with an 8MP camera. 

“Galaxy A20 allows consumers to do more with its brilliant camera with ultra-wide lens and Samsung’s proprietary Super AMOLED technology which brings the display alive. Additionally, the massive battery with fast charging capability and USB Type C connectivity ensures that consumers can easily power through the day and night on Galaxy A20,” Aditya Babbar, who is director, Mobile Business, Samsung India said in a statement.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A20 in India at a price of Rs 12,490 - 3GB/32GB. The Galaxy A20 will be available for buying from April 8 from Samsung e-Store, Samsung Opera House, leading e-commerce portals and retail stores across the country. It will be available in three colours - Red, Blue and Black.
