Israel Vs Hezbollah: Hezbollah Commander Of Preventive Security Unit Nabil Qaouk Killed, Claims IDF

The Israeli military on Sunday said that it had killed another high-ranking Hezbollah official in an airstrike. There was no immediate comment from Hezbollah on the same. The military said on Sunday that it killed Nabil Kaouk, the Commander of Hezbollah’s Preventative Security Unit and a member of their Executive Council, in an airstrike the day before. The Israeli military alleged that Kaouk was close to Hezbollah’s senior commanders and was directly engaged in terrorist attacks against Israel and its citizens. He joined Hezbollah in the 1980s and was regarded as an important source of expertise in his field, having served as the Deputy Commander of the southern region on the Operational Council, Commander of the southern region and Deputy Commander of the Operational Council. The United States had announced sanctions against him in 2020.
