MEA Evacuates Indian Students from Tehran as Middle East Tensions Escalate

Amid rising Israel-Iran tensions, India has begun moving students out of high-risk areas in Iran. The MEA has activated a 24x7 control room and emergency helplines to safeguard Indian nationals in the region.

With the conflict between Israel and Iran intensifying, the Indian government has started evacuating its citizens from Iran for their safety. On Monday, officials reported that around 100 Indian students had reached the Armenia border and would soon be flown out.
