Neeraj Chopra Finishes Second in Diamond League 2024 Final, Misses Crown by 1 Centimetre

Neeraj Chopra missed out on a perfect end to the 2024 athletics season when he finished 2nd at the Diamond League final held on Saturday. Neeraj's best throw was 87.86m, just 1 centimetre less than Anderson Peters' attempt of 87.87m. Germany's Julian Weber finished third in the standings. Neeraj appeared at times to be struggling with the same groin injury that has hampered him for most of the 2024 season, and even affected his chances at the Olympics .
