Indian para-archer Sheetal Devi revealed in this exclusive chat with the Republic Sport Fit podcast what motivated her to take up the sport of archery, including talking about how she found it difficult to even hold up the bow at first as she found it so heavy. Sheetal, who was born with no arms and uses her legs and feet to shoot arrows, said no one expected her to be able to ever accomplish anything for the nation due to her condition. She talks about how her coach Kuldeep Vedwan had to work hard to motivate her gradually over a long period of time and it was only then that she started to find success in her sport.
