‘Living Nostradamus’ Salome’s Predictions Stir Global Buzz as Asteroid Threat Looms

Athos Salome, a Brazilian parapsychologist dubbed the 'Living Nostradamus,' is attracting worldwide attention after several of his 2024 predictions have come to fruition. Salome, who has previously garnered acclaim for his accurate forecasts on the Covid-19 pandemic, Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter (now X), and Queen Elizabeth II's death, is now making headlines with his recent warnings about a looming asteroid threat.

Salome's latest prediction concerns an asteroid, now confirmed by NASA and nicknamed 'God of Chaos.' According to the Near-Earth Object Observations Program, this colossal asteroid is expected to come within 620,000 miles of Earth this Sunday. Salome had foreseen this event and posted a video on Instagram on July 28, predicting NASA's announcement of the asteroid's proximity in September.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star, Salome emphasized that he is not seeking personal accolades but rather validation for his accurate forecasts. He expressed frustration over others appropriating his predictions, stating, "I have noticed that, on several occasions, my predictions are appropriated by other individuals (not clairvoyants or paranormal experts) who present themselves as the originators of these ideas."

Salome further asserted, "On 28 July this year, I posted a video in my Instagram stories again about the asteroid, predicting that NASA would make an announcement in September, confirming that the asteroid would enter a collision course with Earth by November. My predictions are not coincidences. They are grounded and come true."

In addition to his asteroid warning, Salome has also forecasted geopolitical and environmental events. He anticipates that World War 3 will not originate from Ukraine or Gaza, but rather from the South China Sea due to "some surprise event or a catastrophic cyber attack."

Regarding natural disasters, Salome had predicted significant events for September 2024. Typhoon Yagi, which has wreaked havoc with winds exceeding 93 mph, floods, and landslides, aligns with his expectations. "In September of 2024 real events supported these expectations with typhoon Yagi, which affected and brought a large amount of damages to these parts of the world," Salome told the Daily Star. He continued, "The increase of these events deepens the discussion on climate change and the poor readiness of countries for the consequences of climate change."
