Viral Video: The first direct flight from Moscow in 4 years landed in Bali today. The video of how passengers were greeted with flowers, dancing, and music is now going viral on various social media platforms.

The aircraft was given a water cannon salute as it landed in Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport today at Sep 18, 2024.

St. Petersburg's tourists can now visit Bali again without a stopover in Istanbul; earlier, there tourists were forced to take a connecting flight to Bali via Istanbul as there was no direct flight to Bali from Russia.

After the borders reopened following epidemic lockdowns, there were no direct flights from Russia to Bali. Russian airline Aeroflot has launched its first flight service to Bali in 4 years.

Aeroflot Group was offering direct flights Moscow to Bali till four years ago; however, these flights were briefly suspended in August 2020 because of the pandemic and have now been resumed once again.

The Airlines has now began direct flights to the provincial Indonesian island on Sept 17 making the come back of the market for tourists post Covid. Officials in Bali are hopeful that other airlines will follow the footsteps.
