Retired IFS Officer Posts Pic of Wife's 'Guide' For Buying Vegetables, Internet in Splits
He shared a handwritten note from his wife, which guided him on how to buy vegetables in the market
Viral News: A retired IFS officer, Mohan Pargaien, has taken the internet by storm with his recent post. He shared a handwritten note from his wife, which guided him on how to buy vegetables in the market.
From not picking tomatoes with holes to ensuring potatoes are mid-sized, the detailed list included a step-by-step manual on how to select the best vegetables. Each vegetable on the list came with its own instructions. For potatoes, the officer was advised to pick medium-sized ones, with a crucial note: no green-eyed spuds allowed! The guide for fenugreek (methi) emphasized compact leaves with no holes.
Additionally, his wife even included small sketches to help him understand the correct size of different vegetables like chilies, spinach, and onions.
The post was captioned, “While going to the market for vegetables, my wife shares this with me, stating that you can use it as a guide.”
The post garnered significant attention on social media, leaving users amused by his wife’s organizational skills. Many appreciated her knack for details, with one comment reading, "That’s something really helpful for beginners in the sabzi market."
Another user remarked, “Wow, the effort and granularity of the details are amazing. Hats off to her, but it’s a bit scary for the husband, as it leaves no room for error.”
“That looks like a religious book written by great scholars. Scary if something goes wrong,” joked a third person.
A fourth humorously noted, “Awesome specs... bouncing this off with my wife for validation.”
