Reports confirm that she was arrested on Friday at her Quakers Hill home near Sydney.

According to reports, the book contains disturbing references, with some readers noting that the protagonist, a man, expresses his desire for his friend’s daughter since she was just three years old. These themes of paedophilia have ignited a massive backlash.

Who is Tori Woods?

Tori is a 33-year-old Aussie author who has been writing contemporary romance for 15 years. Woods describes herself as an avid reader, music lover, and mother of two. Other than writing, she works as a Christian charity marketing executive

As per Goodreads, she also enjoys travelling, particularly to New Orleans, and is a self-identified Disney fan. She has now stepped away from the public eye following the backlash.

Woods Reacts to Controversy, Deletes Social Media

In response to the controversy, Woods deactivated her social media accounts, including her LinkedIn profile. Meanwhile, the book 'Daddy’s Little Toy' has also been removed from platforms like Amazon and Goodreads.

Before stepping away from social media, she responded to the backlash, claiming that the outrage was a "big misunderstanding."

She defended the book, stating: DLT is definitely not promoting or inciting anything ever to do with child sexual abuse or pedophilia," adding "o int3rcOurs3 happened while she was young. YES there were thoughts and I can see how that is frowned upon."
