Iran May Launch Missile Strikes on Israel 'Within Hours,' says Report

The New York Times has reported that Israeli officials anticipate an imminent Iranian attack involving drones and missiles, with a U.S. official warning of potential ballistic missile strikes. According to three anonymous Israeli officials cited in the report, the attack is expected to occur “in the coming hours.”

In an earlier attack on Israel in April, ballistic missiles were calculated to take approximately 12 minutes to reach their targets in Israel, from Iran, while cruise missiles took about two hours. Drones, on the other hand, could take roughly nine hours to complete their journey.

Iran intends to target military bases and intelligence headquarters 

The Israeli officials indicated that Iran's planned assault would focus on three military air bases, as well as an intelligence headquarters located north of Tel Aviv, which has reportedly been evacuated in anticipation of the attack.

While a full-scale war was averted during the previous confrontation in April, the current situation appears more precarious.
