Multiple vehicles were set ablaze at Elon Musk's Tesla service centre in Las Vegas following a suspected arson attack on the centre. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department rushed to the spot and is currently investigating the incident, which took place at the Tesla Collision Center on West Badura Avenue. According to the reports, the fire incident occurred around 2.45 am local time on Tuesday, during which no one was reported injured.
According to authorities, an individual set several vehicles on fire in the parking lot, causing massive damage to the property. The police department received information about the incident through communications.
On information, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department rushed to the spot and is actively investigating the suspected arson attack.
The police officials at the Tesla service centre are reviewing evidence and interviewing witnesses to determine the identity of the individual responsible for the incident.
Meanwhile, the incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of Tesla's facilities and customers. The company has not commented on the incident, but the investigation is ongoing.
Reacting to the incident, Elon Musk called it 'an act of terrorism.
Notably, the fire incident at the service centre has surfaced a few days after a major cyberattack on Elon Musk's owned social media platform X, an attack allegedly linked to Ukraine.
