Here's a story that'll drench your heart with warmth and aww- A dog has been waiting for over 80 days on the road where his owner died in China. 

The pet who has been braving the busy roads ever since August with the hope to reunite with his owner has sparked overwhelm on the social network Pear Video website of China. 

China's Pear Video website said the dog has been seen on the road every day since its owner died on 21 August, in the city of Hahhot, Inner Mongolia as per the reports of the China-state agency.

Reportedly, the dog is being fed by canine-lovers who leave food by the road for him.  Footage of dog shared by Pear Video became viral on China's Weibo social media site and already has been viewed over 1.4 million times, making the pooch popular. 

It is known that the dog gets intimidated if approached by people. Volunteers are trying to find the relatives of the dog and are concerned about his well-being. As per reports, the volunteers have decided to find a home for the loyal dog. 

 

In another such incidence, an aged dog has gained popularity for faithfully waiting for his owner to come home in China outside a subway station. 

The dog, Xiongxiong has been admired for his loyalty, waits outside the Liziba metro station, while his owner is off to work. He patiently waits there all day for his return

Xiongxiong is an online sensation and has found netizens visiting him regularly, according to reports. The video shows the dog wagging his tail and barking in excitement as his owner returns at the end of the day.
