After being hit by a car in New York's Rotterdam, a dog was stuck between a broken bumper and the grille of a moving car before the driver realised that she was carrying an injured passenger. Speaking to media, police official in Rotterdam, Jeffrey Collins, said that the driver was aware of the fact that her Chevy sedan had hit something, but did not notice the dog at first. After driving around 15 miles, she was startled to hear noises that mader her stop and check her car's front end. That's when she finally spotted the dog staring at her from below the car's license plate and called 911 for help.

A ruff ride

According to reports, the Shiba Inu named Coco was hit by a Chevy sedan in Albany on Monday morning. The police officer said that the driver stopped to check what she had hit, but spotted nothing except the damage to the front end of the car. When she called 911 for help after spotting Coco 45 minutes later, the dog was freed by a police officer named Andrew Derrizio who pressed down the scoop and allowed the dog to come out with a shattered elbow. Noella Lafreniere, an employee of the Hernas Veterinary clinic where Coco is being treated expressed her amazement over the fact that the dog had survived.

Abandoned dog up for adoption

The dog who was found on a bus by a school student Gemma Louise Burton last week is finally up for adoption as an animal care centre by the name Cliffe Kennels & Rescue announced on Facebook that the dog was in their care. Cliffe Kennels also sent out pre-adoption forms in order to select the right and loving home for the dog. The dog who has now been named Olive instantly went viral as Burton last week posted a picture of her with a caption, “This little cutie came on the 620 bus at Bierley Lane to Bradford this morning. If she belongs to you and you're in Bradford, please, please come to the Bradford Interchange bus station and collect her”.

Burton told an international media that she was on her way to school and as she boarded the bus she noticed the dog without an owner. Burton realized that the dog, despite wearing a harness was searching for someone as she could see the dog sniffing around the bus. The UK-based animal care centre immediately took the dog in their care and as per the legal system of the UK, the kennel had to keep the dog for seven days before putting up for adoption.
