The AOC Archeological group recently excavated 60 full skeletons and more than 4000 human bone fragments at the Aberdeen Art Gallery redevelopment site. The remains are reportedly dated back to at least 600 years. According to the reports, the skeletons found were discovered to be shorter and more stout and further revealed that they probably belong to the medieval man. The face of Skeleton 125 was reconstructed and tested after which it indicated that the man was over the age of 46 and shorter than the average. The scientists further claimed that he also suffered from extensive dental disease.

Netizens reaction

As soon as the archaeological group revealed the reconstructed face, the netizens didn't take long to react hilariously as they called the reconstructed face “ugly” or “disproportionate”. On the other hand, Dr. Paula Milburn, from AOC Archaeology described the work as providing a “fascinating glimpse” into the lives of Aberdonians 600 years ago. She further added that the ongoing post-excavation work is examining the remains in detail and will provide amazing information on the kind of people buried here, including their ages, gender, health, and lifestyles.
