Duke of Sussex Prince Harry expressed his willingness to leave California and the glitters of Hollywood and revealed the place he would “happily live” in. The British royal stirred a lot of commotion after leaving the UK royal family with his wife Meghan Markle. With a tell-all book, a Netflix series and a plethora of interviews, the 38-year-old Prince, in the past, has given his reasons to leave the royal niceties and revealed several dark secrets of the Royal family. On Wednesday, the estranged Prince said that he would happily leave American soil and head to Japan.

The remarks from the young prince came while he was attending the International Sports Promotion Society (ISPS) Sports Values – Summer Edition summit in Tokyo, Japan, The New York Post reported. At the summit, the Duke lauded the culture and traditions of the Asian nation and expressed his intentions to live there. “I’ve been involved in many charities for most of my life and I get a huge amount of fulfilment giving back to as many people as possible. My life is charity, always has been, always will be,” Prince Harry told the crowd. “Your warmth, your compassion, your generosity, every single element of the Japanese culture is really unique and very, very special,” he added. He then went on to recall his last visit to Japan and expressed his intention to move to the country. “I noticed it on my first visit four years ago when I came for the Rugby World Cup. And I would happily live here if you’d have me,” Prince Harry exclaimed.

In the Wednesday event, Harry expressed his love for Japanese cuisine and raved over the stake he had in lunch and dinner. “The most incredible Kobe steak, both for dinner last night and lunch today,” the UK royal remarked. “Thank you for your hospitality. I have really, really enjoyed being here in Japan again and I’m looking forward to my next visit,” he added. While his trip to the nation was a brief one, Prince Harry managed to shop for his wife, Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. Prince Harry chose his old pal, Polo Champ, Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras for the whole ordeal.

“Shopping for our wives,” Figueras captioned the image he shared on Instagram in which both can be seen posing with their dapper sunglasses on. “A big thank you to Tokyo for your generous hospitality and kindness towards us. And of course, for your continued support of @sentebale!” Figueras added.
