Resurfaced old video of Bob Dylan snubbing fans goes viral

A video of American musician, Bob Dylan, has gathered a great deal of attention via social media platforms, for example, Twitter. In the video that turned into a web sensation, the vocalist can be seen disregarding two of his young fans during his time in the city of Dublin in 1966.

A 'Cranky' refusal

The video showcases that Bob appeared to be in a grumpy mood and he refused to sign an autograph for the two excited fans, who were seen holding papers and peeping in Dylan's vehicle to attempt to get an autograph. In addition to this, the vocalist dismissed his fans' desire to get an autograph by saying that they didn't require it and ended the interaction by telling them that if they required it, he would have offered it to them on his own.

At the pinnacle 

Dylan was at the top in his musical career when he played his first-Irish show at Dublin's Adelphi Cinema on May 5, 1966, with a 15 songs set, which included Visions of Johanna, Fourth Time Around, It's All Over Now Baby Blue, Desolation Row, Just Like a Woman, and Mr. Tambourine Man. The show was played in two different sets with Dylan first playing out an original acoustic set of melodies before being joined by The Hawks. As per reports, during the second set of the show, certain portions of the audience booed and weakly applauded when he was in the middle of playing one of his songs.

Dylan next played at the ABC Theater in Belfast and didn't perform in Ireland until 1984, where he was the main entertainer at a show at Slane Castle during the same year.

A strong review

George D Hodnett expressed that Dylan's show was not up to the mark at whatever point he was playing during his sets. Hodnett is himself an acclaimed lyricist, best known for Take Me Up To Monto, a tune that truly described the picture of Dublin's red light area.
