A college student fell off approximately 80 feet from the balcony while attempting to master an extreme yoga pose. She has been listed under critical condition

A college student from Mexico fell off approximately 80 feet from the balcony while attempting to master an extreme yoga pose. 23-year-old, Alexa Terrazas was trying to master the pose from her sixth-floor apartment balcony, when she lost her grip and fell a hug distance below, landing on the driveway of her apartment building.

23-YEAR OLD FALLS OFF THE BALCONY 

An image of the 23-year-old attempting the yoga pose went viral just shortly before she fell off the balcony. In the picture, Terrazas can be seen hanging upside down on the balcony rail while supporting her entire body weight on her head that points to the ground below her. 

WHAT HAPPENED NEXT? 

After the young student fell down she was taken to a local hospital, where she underwent around 11 hours of surgery and suffered from fractures both on her legs and arms. She has been listed as critical. As per news reports, the college student, who is doing a Bachelor’s degree in Wellness and Nutrition at the Tecnológico de Monterrey, will not walk for three years, as doctors had to reconstruct and work on her broken legs

DAUGHTER OF FORMER PRESIDENT IN CHIHUAHUA

For the uninitiated, she is the daughter of Alberto Terrazas Seyffert, the former president of the National Chamber of the Transformation Industry in Chihuahua.

INVESTIGATION: 

The Nuevo Leon Attorney General’s office has opened an investigation on the matter to see if the balcony rail was the reason behind the 23-year-old woman's fall. However, after further investigations, it was found that it was an accident.
