"We serve north Indian cuisine. But I like taking a little from East, West and South of India. I was born in Orissa. I started cooking professionally 25 years ago and the restaurant is 2.5 years old. I am going to serve the Prime Minister with the Namo Thali, which will be available to the public. It's such an honour to cook for my Prime Minister gives me special joy. I want to do everything from Namo Thali, Namo Mishti/Mithai Thali to honour our PM," she said.
Talking about the idea behind Namo Thali, she said she researched to find what PM Modi's mother cooked for him on his birthday. She also shared the contents of the Namo Thali but said the entire Thali will be revealed after serving the PM. In terms of a sweet surprise, Verma revealed that the PM will be served an array of dishes. She added that she plans to add both the Thalis in to her regular menu.
"I did a lot of research on what he (PM Modi) likes , what his mother cooked for him on his birthday. These days it is easy to research what he likes without being in India. The Namo Thali has the Methi Thepla, Samosa with mint chutney, Kachori with Imli ki chutney, dal and Khichdi, Khandvi. We will reveal Namo Thali after we serve the Prime Minister. The Mithai Thali has Gajar Halwa, Rasmalai, Shrikhand, Gulab Jamun and Kheer. I am planning to add a few more dishes. Let's see what he will enjoy. I am also planning to make this and Namo Thali a part of our regular menu," she added.

We have been hosting these guests at the Four Stroke Hotel and have been honoured to cook with Chefs over there. They have been enjoying cooking Indian food with me. Every day we have about 600 people (for the Indian meals) - 200 per meal."
