WATCH | Gorillas Try To Avoid The Rain At A Zoo In A Hilarious Video That Is Now Going Viral

A video has been making the rounds on social media, showing a group of gorillas trying to avoid the rain. The video is from the Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens, South Carolina, which shows a troop of gorillas along with their babies gather together under shade to prevent themselves from the rain.

The video shows two female gorillas with their babies clutched to their arms as they cross the path, protecting themselves and the babies from the water on the ground. As the female gorillas made their way to the dry land, the video further shows the male gorillas crossing the watery path in the end. 

One of the female gorillas also gives a big smile as she braves the heavy downpour with her kid. The video has been shared on the official page of Riverbanks Zoo and Garden, and has garnered millions of views and comments since being shared on social media.

This video has come days after two gorillas were snapped posing for a selfie at Virunga National Park.

Mathieu Shamavu, a park ranger at Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo, was at work when he snapped the photo with the hilarious primates and his co-worker, Patrick, the New York Daily Newsreported. Both female gorillas in the photo are named Ndakazi and Ndeze. They’ve resided at the Senkwekwe Centre for Gorilla Orphans since they were small, where they are cared for by many staff members.

In another viral video, a Chimpanzee was seen showing off his social media skills. The video shows a Chimpanzee scrolling, swiping and savouring animal videos, from apes to snakes on Instagram.
