Ducati DesertX Discovery Launched In India: Check What's New

New Ducati Bike in India: Ducati India has launched the DesertX Discovery for the Indian market. The DesertX Discovery is an adventure tourer motorcycle and Ducati India has expanded its lineup with this launch. According to Ducati, the DesertX Discovery will be filling the gap between the DesertX and the DesertX Rally. To set it apart, Ducati has made changes to its looks and features to differentiate it from other DesertX models. However, Ducati will be launching the new Panigale V4 7G on 5 March 2025 in India. 

“The DesertX Discovery represents a significant step in Ducati's growth within the Indian market. We recognise the immense potential of the adventure segment here, and we're confident that this motorcycle will capture the hearts of adventure enthusiasts across India,” Mr Bipul Chandra, Managing Director, Ducati India said.

Ducati DesertX Discovery Design:

The design of the Ducati DesertX Discovery is similar to other DesertX models from Ducati. It has a similar silhouette, a black, white, and red livery, and for safety, Ducati has equipped the DesertX Discovery with bull-bar protection around the fuel tank, a large windscreen, a belly guard, a radiator guard, hard-case panniers, and a centre stand. The buyers have multiple customisation options and Ducati also offers multiple replaceable elements.

Ducati DesertX Discovery Features:

Regarding the feature list, the Ducati has offered slightly more features in the DesertX Discovery as compared to DesertX.

Ducati DesertX Discovery Engine Specifications:

Regarding the engine powertrain, the Ducati DesertX Discovery has a 937cc L-twin liquid-cooled petrol engine, which produces 110BHP and 92Nm torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a bi-directional quick-shifter. 

Ducati DesertX Discovery Price:

The buyers of the Ducati DesertX Discovery have to pay ₹21.78 lakh (ex-showroom).
