Google Bitcoin trends: Google searches for "buy Bitcoin" have experienced a surge globally, reflecting a major cryptocurrency rally. In the United Kingdom, searches for the term "buy Bitcoin" spiked by a remarkable 826 per cent over the past week. This surge in interest coincides with the resurgence of cryptocurrencies and suggests a growing fascination.

According to a crypto news platform CoinTelegraph, the trend is not limited to the UK; worldwide searches related to purchasing Bitcoin have also seen a substantial increase. In the United States, queries like "Should I buy Bitcoin now?" surged by over 250 per cent, and more specialised searches, such as "Can I buy Bitcoin on Fidelity?" recorded an astounding 3,100 per cent increase in the past week.

The search term "Is it a good time to buy Bitcoin?" gained 110 per cent globally, while "BlackRock Bitcoin ETF" increased by 250 per cent, indicating widespread enthusiasm for information about BlackRock's forthcoming spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).

Bitcoin price rally

This heightened interest aligns with a major rise in Bitcoin's price over the past two weeks, briefly surpassing $35,000 on October 24, a level not seen since May 2022. Much of the excitement is linked to the anticipation of a spot Bitcoin ETF approval, which is expected to attract substantial institutional investment.

Experts, including senior ETF analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart, estimate a 90 per cent likelihood of approval by January 10 next year. As of the time of this report, Bitcoin has gained more than 27 per cent in the past two weeks.
