Wagh Bakri Tea Group's Executive Director Parag Desai passes away

Parag Desai, the Executive Director of Wagh Bakri Tea Group, passed away on Sunday, succumbing to severe head injuries caused by a tragic incident.

A week prior to his demise, he had a harrowing encounter with street dogs near his residence in Ahmedabad. In an attempt to fend off the aggressive dogs, he slipped and fell, resulting in grievous head injuries that ultimately led to a fatal brain haemorrhage.

Desai passed away in Ahmedabad.

The Wagh Bakri Tea Group shared the news through an Instagram Stories post, stating, "With profound grief and sorrow, we regret to inform the sad demise of our beloved Shri Parag Desai."

Parag Desai, who was the son of Rasesh Desai, the Managing Director of Wagh Bakri Tea Group, held an MBA degree from Long Island University in the USA. His untimely passing is a poignant loss for both the Desai family and the wider business community.
