Nirmala Sitharaman to inaugurate digital expo on Thursday

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is set to inaugurate the Digital Acceleration and Transformation Expo (DATE) on November 23, showcasing India's growing digital aspirations and technological advancements.

The two-day event, organized by Trescon, will feature Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar as the chief guest, discussing the impact of emerging technologies and India's digital ambitions.

Taking place at Yashobhoomi (IICC Dwarka) in New Delhi, DATE brings together influential technology leaders, startups, investors, enterprise decision-makers, and policymakers. The expo highlights India's rapid adoption of groundbreaking solutions, positioning the country as a significant player in the global digital landscape.

Key speakers at the event include Sanjeev Sanyal, member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council; Tejasvi Surya, MP; Abhishek Singh, MD and CEO of Digital India Corporation (DIC), and President and CEO of NeGD. Industry leaders like Kamal Bali, Sanjiv Bajaj, Gopal Asthana, and Himanshu Chakrawarti are also scheduled to participate.

The sessions will cover a range of topics, from the future of Generative AI and conversational commerce to democratizing software development and navigating the multi-Cloud, AI, ML, Low-Code environment.
