Team India seamer Jasprit Bumrah has reportedly checked in at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Bengaluru just days before the IPL 2026 season. Bumrah has been a mainstay for the Mumbai Indians.
Jasprit Bumrah has been one of Team India's fiercest warriors with the ball, picking up key wickets during crucial junctures. His workload management, however, has been a key troubling factor which the team has to manage.
With the IPL 2025 season closing in and a packed calendar after that, it will be pivotal for Bumrah to remain fit and healthy for franchise and international commitments.
Jasprit Bumrah Arrives at BCCI Centre of Excellence
According to ESPNCricinfo, Jasprit Bumrah has reported to the Centre of Excellence to work on his strength and conditioning. The Indian seamer would join the Mumbai Indians franchise ahead of their IPL 2026 season opening fixture. The five-time IPL champions will be in action at home.
The report added that Bumrah's arrival in the CoE was planned by the medical staff to keep him in check for the upcoming away white-ball series in England. The seamer's role would be key for the team during the five-match T20I and three-match ODI series.

Bumrah to be Pivotal For Mumbai Indians In IPL 2026
Jasprit Bumrah was pivotal during India's campaign in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. In the final against New Zealand, the seamer delivered a splendid 4/15 spell as the Men in Blue sealed a historic title victory. His form would be clinical for the Mumbai Indians when they kick off their IPL 2026 campaign.
Bumrah has featured as a mainstay for the Mumbai Indians, picking up 186 wickets in 148 outings. The fast bowler is on track to become the franchise's all-time leading wicket taker, dethroning Lasith Malinga (195).
