Dalgaon Election Results 2026 Highlights: AIUDF's Mazibur Rahman Wins With 147555 Votes

All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF)'s Mazibur Rahman has secured a win in Dalgaon constituency.

As per trends of the Election Commission of India (ECI), the BJP led in 79 seats, the Indian National Congress is ahead in 23 seats, followed by the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) with 10 seats, and the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) with 9 seats. The All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) is leading in 2 seats, while Raijor Dal (RJRD) and the United People's Party, Liberal (UPPL) are ahead in two and one seat, respectively. 

Dalgaon is likely competing to win the highest NOTA count in Assam constituencies. The number reached 1095 this year. The final figure will be update by the end of the day.

Mazibur Rahman from All India United Democratic Front continues to lead with 19101 votes now. Rahman is giving a tough fight to Bharatiya Janata Party's Krishna Saha, Raijor Dal's Azizur Rahman and Independent leader Md Aynul Hoque. 

For the 2026 Assembly election in the Dalgaon Assembly constituency, there were a total of 315,284 registered voters on the electoral rolls. Among them, 159,641 were male, 155,633 were female, and 10 identified as belonging to the third gender.

Counting is underway across all 126 assembly seats in Assam, with the BJP leading in 57 constituencies. The party needs 7 more to reach the majority mark of 64. BJP is being closely followed by Congress, leading in 30 seats at this stage.

In the Dalgaon assembly election results, All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF)'s Mazibur Rahman is leading with 6666 votes.

 This year, the candidates in the limelight are Azizur Rahman, Krishna Saha, and Mazibur Rahman from major parties like Raijor Dal, BJP, and All India United Democratic Front.

 This year, the highest voter turnout of 94.57 per cent was in Assam. Owing to high voter turnout, Dalgaon has drawn significant attention, making it a key indicator of public sentiment in the Assam Assembly Election Results 2026.  A high turnout often signals a strong electoral push, and political parties are closely tracking seat-wise results in Dalgaon to understand how this participation is translating into votes.
