Bihar Election 2025 Live: Kishanganj had the highest turnout (66.10%), followed by Purnia (64.22%), Katihar (63.80%), Jamui (63.33%), and Banka (63.03%). Nawada has the lowest turnout (53.17%), followed by Madhubani (55.55%), Rohtas (55.92%), Arwal (58.26%), and Jahanabad (58.72%).

Bihar Election 2025 Live Updates: Khusbu Devi, a resident of Pranpatti in Purnia, said that her name was deleted from the voters’ list during the SIR exercise. She added, “I couldn’t vote this time. My name wasn’t on the list. I don’t know what happened. No one came to our house, what could I do?”

Another resident of the village, Amol Kumar Mehta, said, “At my booth, names of several genuine voters have also been deleted. People are worried. They all live here. Only senior officials know why these names were removed.”

Bihar Election Live Updates: Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Tuesday lauded the increase in voter turnout in the Bihar Assembly elections and expressed confidence in the victory of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Speaking to ANI, Meghwal said that 'vikas' (development) and 'sushasan' (good governance) have been two major election issues in Bihar, based on which the NDA will win the contest. 

"This is a festival of democracy. Voting percentage increased in the first phase, and there is an enthusiasm (among voters) in the second phase as well. 'Vikas' (development) and 'sushasan' (good governance) were two issues in the elections, and I am confident that the people of Bihar will bring back the NDA government," the Union Minister said.

Bihar Election 2025 Live: Bihar recorded a voter turn out of 31.38% till 11 am. The highest voter turn out was recorded in Kishanganj (34.74%).

Bihar Election 2025 Live: The voter turn out till 9 am in the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections is much higher than the voter turn in the 2020 Assembly elections till 9 am. While this year 14.55% turn out was recorded till 9 am, Bihar saw a turn out of just 7.6% in the 2020 polls.

Bihar Election 2025 Live: Independent MP from Purnea Pappu Yadav alleged that voters are being lath-charged. “At polling booth numbers 49, 45, people aren't being allowed inside,” he added. He further said, “I spoke with DM. The way things are going right now is wrong. Maintain the healthy traditions of democracy. I only know that whoever Seemanchal and Kosi stand with will form the government.”

Bihar Election 2025 Live Updates: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has appealed to the people of Bihar to vote in the last phase of Assembly elections. Taking to social media platform X, the ECI said, “Sabse zaruri kaam, matdaan (Voting- The most important task)."

Bihar Election 2025 Live Updates: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urged the public to exercise their democratic rights. In a post on X, the Chief Minister said, “In democracy, voting is not only our right but also our duty. Today, voting for the second phase of the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections is taking place — all voters are urged to exercise their voting rights without fail. At the polling station, he predicated a record-breaking voter turnout. He said, "I urge everyone to certainly cast their vote and register over 75% of voter turnout. Your vote ensures free ration to the poor, free treatment, free electricity, Rs 10,000 in the accounts of women. This is the power of your vote. So, I urge everyone to cast their vote...There will be record-breaking voting."

In an X post, the Prime Minister said, “Today is the second and final phase of voting in the Bihar Assembly elections. I have a special appeal to the young companions of the state who are going to vote for the first time that they should not only cast their vote themselves but also inspire others to do so.”
