Rajan J. Pallan (INC) has emerged victorious in Thrissur as counting concludes (16/16), finishing with a massive lead of 26,803 votes. The battle for the runner-up position is between the NDA and LDF. Padmaja Venugopal (BJP) holds second place with 17,549 votes, leading Alankode Leelakrishnan (CPI) by just 379 votes. The surge in BJP votes in these middle rounds has successfully pushed the LDF into third place for the third consecutive round.
