Celina Jaitly takes action against critic for ‘horrific claims’ about her and Feroz Khan

Celina Jaitly recently made headlines when Umair Sandhu, a Pakistani journalist, made a series to shocking claims about her and the late Feroz Khan. The indivual also said that she was in a relationship with Fardeen Khan. Celina has now revealed that she has taken legal action against Umair Sandhu.

Celina Jaitly takes help of National Commission for Women

Celina took to her Twitter handle on Sunday and revealed that she got in touch with the National Commission Of Women in India since the supposed Pakistan-based self-described film critic persisted with his attacks. She wrote, “A few months ago, a self-proclaimed Hindi film critic and journalist from Pakistan named Umair Sandu took to Twitter to make viral untrue horrific claims about me which included bizarre allegations like my relations with both my mentor Feroz Khan and his son Fardeen, in addition, he made claims targeting me and my family’s safety and security even in Austria.” 

The actress stated that Umair Sandhu was still hiding in Pakistan and she had made the decision to bring the issue before the National Commission for Women (NCW). The committee acknowledged her complaint and forwarded a letter to the Joint Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs. 

Celina Jaitly expresses gratitude to Indian Govt

Celina added that she is fighting Umair not only because he has attacked her character, but also because he has "assaulted my integrity, my motherhood, my family, and most importantly, my Godfather and my beloved mentor Mr Feroz Khan who is no longer in this world here to defend himself."

She then  expressed her gratitude to NCW, in particular to Rekha Sharma and Kushbu Sundar. The  Indian government was also mentioned in her tweet, "because they upheld the pride of every Indian woman" by taking action.
