It has almost been three years since Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif called it quits. Kapoor is dating 'Brahmastra' co-star Alia Bhatt, while Kaif is just taking some time off to concentrate on herself and work.

Speaking about her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, the actress in an interview to a leading media publication admitted to 'struggling' with it. She further went on to say that just by feeling 'bad', things will not go back to how they were. and so she decided to take charge. Revealing the only thing that helped her stay calm during this tough period was a piece of advice her mother had given her, and that was that women and many girls go through the same thing, and although one might feel alone, they never are
In another interview, the actress had said, "I've always been emotional. I’m a Cancerian and a sensitive soul. I'm not going to lose that or change that for anyone. But what I have learnt is that as a woman, you must protect and maintain your identity. Your sense of self-worth comes from within and not from another person. You come into this world alone, and you leave alone. That’s something you should not lose sight of."
On the work front, Katrina Kaif will be seen in 'Bharat' opposite Salman Khan. One of the most anticipated films of the year, 'Bharat' is all set to take the audience on a ride back in time the time on 24th April, 2019. Including stellar performers like Disha Patani, Tabu, and Sunil Grover, the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial boasts of an ensemble cast promising power-packed performances. As for Ranbir Kapoor, he will be seen sharing screen space for the first with Alia Bhatt in 'Brahmastra'. Apart from the two, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles.
