Kriti Sanon calls her role in maiden production venture Do Patti 'most challenging' so far

National Award-winning actress Kriti Sanon recently spoke about her experience of turning a producer with her upcoming film Do Patti, written by Kanika Dhillon. The Shehzada actress informed her followers last week that she has begun shooting for her maiden production venture, which also co-stars Kajol.

Do Patti is a thriller with a heart: Kriti Sanon 

Talking about why she chose Do Patti for her production debut, Kriti said, “There are some stories that touch your heart so much that you feel like being a part of that story besides just as an actor. Do Patti is one such story.” She also added that she and writer Kanika Dhillon had been meeting many times over the years, discussing the idea of working together and a concept good enough to mark their union. She went on to describe the film as “edgy, different, thriller and yet with a bit of a heart”.

Sanon further stated, “Even if I keep my job as a producer aside, Do Patti is my most challenging and difficult role so far. And I like a good challenge."

Incidentally, 2024 marks 10 years of Kriti Sanon in the film industry. The Mimi actor made her screen debut with the Ahmed Khan-directed Heropanti, where she was paired with fellow debutant Tiger Shroff. Kriti was last seen in the mythological drama Adipurush, starring opposite Baahubali actor Prabhas. Her other upcoming projects include Ganapath: Part 1 and The Crew.
